I am a psychiatrist specializing in addiction. I have seen an increase of teenage drugabuse in the last 5 years in my practice. Of the teens I treat, they are more likely these days to abuse “legal” drugs- some prescription and some non-prescription. Young people use/abusedrugs. Young people die from using/abusingdrugs. We need to stop young people from dying from drug use/abuse. (The same goes for older people... folks to quit abusingdrugs:
Near death experience (i.e. the drugabuser nearly dying)
Looking in the mirror and feeling genuine disgust
Loss of your children, having them
