I'm so psyched about peak flow. And no, I'm not talking about some woo-woo psychological thing.
I'm talking about the incoming tide at Wrightsville Beach for Beach to Battleship iron-distance triathlon next year.
Peak tidal flow is going to happen about 4 minutes before the start of the swim leg. Which should hopefully carry me to the swim exit

Well, since I had my chest infection, it took me around seven weeks to shift the germs, helped by two prolonged... agreed to a repeat prescription.
I did my peak flow and I was fine. Up to 430 again. Great.
The she said I could go.
Really? Is that it?

1 week, 3+ drop bags, 136 runners, dozens of checks, and countless hours later means Twin Peaks is in the history books for 2010.

Last night at dialysis was the quarterly test of access flow rates. The technician told me that they do the testing on a regular basis, and since I am using the large needles now, they can go ahead and test me. My wakeup heart rate has dropped

Today is a rest day, but I wanted to report that my wakeup heart rate dropped to 55 this morning. That is a big drop and a good sign!
Another good news is that my weight has dropped, indicating I've had less swelling the past couple of days than I've been having. In recent weeks my weight has been 10-15 pounds above my weight 13 months ago
