This is a short little reminder that massaging injection sites is a good thing, but you have to know when to do it, based on the med you are using. When I rub my Copaxone sites (or convince my husband to do it), that hurts-so-good feeling almost makes the whole injecting yourself thing worth it. Almost.Read

San Francisco is about to open the first legal injection site in the country.
I've had a lot to say on the topic in the past. To sum up my view, context is key. A program like this can be an expression of despair, fear and/or contempt, or it can be a way to engage addicts and try to keep them healthier until the enter recovery.

In my article Vaccinating Small Dogs: Risks Vets Aren’t Revealing, I summarized a shocking 2005 study which reported: Young adult small-breed neutered dogs given multiple... ranged from hives to shock and even death. Although the less a dog weighs, the more likely the reaction — all dogs are at risk when multiple vaccines are given.
