this worse? Me tapering for a race this weekend = less running = less cross-training = less dog & dog mom activity = RESTLESS LEGS!
I swear it's true. I've been laying....... looking for trouble.
Guess he's bored too.
See what I mean. 2 crazy dogs + 2 crazy Ironman + not enough exercise = ONE RESTLESS HOUSEHOLD!

Hubby and I had a horrible night of sleep last night thanks to Bailey being completely restless. He jumped up on the bed... into our bathroom and pee on our bath mat. Friday I did a 10mile run. I did the first 7.5miles with my dogs, and it was fantastic. It was hot, of course here, but for the most part the sun was behind some clouds so it wasn't so bad. I wasn't worried about my pace, I just followed my HR, took extra stops to give the dogs water & completed the run. Later that afternoon I went to masters to swim

Very odd... Maybe I should make sure I'm eating more iron rich food.
As we learn more about restless legs syndrome (RLS), one of the facts that is becoming clear is that RLS is more common in women than in men. Some studies show that RLS might be perhaps twice as common in women.

A recent study found that restless leg syndrome, RLS, may be more common in women and Caucasians. Women are more likely to have the symptoms of RLS because they are more likely to be iron deficient. Iron deficiency is a known risk factor for restless leg syndrome. Pregnancy can also worsen the symptoms of RLS. [...]

My mom went to see Alice again this afternoon. Alice is very restless, especially when she sees my mom. It seems as if she just want to touch or hug her, but she can't - her... gets more restless. And her restlessness will cause that the ventilator would have to stay longer in her mouth.
Please pray that Alice will be more calm and relaxed.
