Think they are the same thing? Nope, they are not. So many people use disinfectant to clean. This helps create half dead germs that become resistant to our war against them. As mentioned in earlier posts, we use Benelife Green products. They have a cleaner and a disinfectant.

There comes a time when disinfectant is needed to keep things clean around the house. If you are dealing with chicken, then you need to disinfect the area so that you don't spread salmonella. Sadly, many different types of disinfectants have several harmful chemicals in them and people are spreading them all over their counters and chopping blocks

I’ve blogged before about the Benelife Products. After living in the bleach mindset, I just had to have a disinfectant to trust. Last winter we became green... for instance, when I dropped a raw egg on the counter instead of cracking it into the bowl (the kids distracted me).
I remembered reading about the power of natural disinfectants... to disinfect the counter. I wiped it up with a sponge, which I then put in the dishwasher to sanitize.
This method was tested by Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University
