Citalopram, one of the class of drugs known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) which are usually used to address depression, did not yield beneficial... the placebo group, but the children in the Citalopram group were more likely to have adverse outcomes.

How well can Citalopram treat GAD?

I Have been having GAD for like 3 months and a doctor prescribed to me Citalopram. I have been taking 20mgs of it per day for almost 5 weeks now, and I am still having... and constantly feel like I have to gasp and swallow air cuz i feel like there’s a lump or sumthing in the back of my throat

A recent study shows that Citalopram doesn’t control repetitive behaviors in people with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The failure of a drug trial usually leads to harsh.... (As an aside—anyone who thinks bloggers here are somehow paid by pharmaceutical companies may want to read Kev’s post.)

An interesting study for me personally as it involves a crazymed I’m familiar with – Citalopram (the generic name) brand name Celexa in the US and Cipramil over here in Blighty.

Women are 33 percent more likely than men to experience full remission with citalopram ( Celexa ).
