Shortness of breath results from a combination of chest wall rigidity and abnormal, drug-induced muscle movement.
I have gone through CT Chest and Lung XR and confirmed I have short of breath caused by Parkinson's.
My medications daily are as follows
9 dosages Prednisolone (Stiroid)
1 " Nexium 40mg (gastric)

Yesterday at class I had an 86 year old women return who had been down and out for a month or so with Chronic Heart Failure. One of her friends told me to make sure I had her called down because she wanted to come back and was afraid she would forget.

Apparently we breathe on average 20,000 times a day. But how we actually breathe can help with digestion, calm your mind, and decrease pain.
Bad breathing can have... is the 'body's brakes' and which can reduce your pain.
Lie on your back and place one hand on your chest and one on your stomach. Breathe in slowly from your belly for a count of five

When people are in pain, they don’t want to move but that is the worse thing to do. Movement has been shown to be very important to decreasing pain and speeding up heeling.
Our office recognizes this and also knows that functional movement is most important in decreasing pain. We do a functional movement screen to help guide our patients

ankle movement after taping, researchers measured the threshold for movement in 16 participants with a history of recurrent ankle sprains. Movement threshold was measured at three different speeds and in two directions ( inversion and eversion ).

and wedging the chest underneath the bar is so important and there is a different breathing set up for this. The breath is initially deep into the belt but then up into the chest... and chest will "link" up and support the weight that is hanging from the arms and being lifted through the body.
