My Face, Your Face

Facebook wants to copyright the word "face".
To quote the Beeb (ok I don't have too much faith there ...) "If granted, the trademark will only apply to online sites... magazine "The Face"?
Should I rename this blog? My Face, Kezia's Face, The Face of My Family?
For that matter should I copyright My Face?

And what is it about sleepy eyes in the sun?
Especially after a cold snowy winter...?

This is the best face photo of my son Kyle taken last January 3 while he and his Dad were picking mangoes on the rooftop. Notice the little dolly? It was his sister's. He held the poor thing 'hostage' on the rooftop. lol

I *Heart* Faces Photo Challenge - Silly Baby Face

Since I am all about celebrating Austin's Face this is usually a fairly easy challenge for me. The tough part this week was narrowing it down to ONE silly face!
In March 2008, my mom made Austin a mini Leprechaun costume complete with Shamrock glasses and we did a photo shoot. This is just one of many silly faces we captured that day

the girl holding the flower, as her Mama I don't need to see the face to know it his her, I recognize her creases in her hands, her nail beds; mostly I love how well that hand fits into my own.

New Faces
I saw a new face today.
A face of acceptance, willingness, and laughter
And in the beyond, the faces of my mountain brothers in their curiosity
Peeking... lap
I saw faces of fruit, leaves, and flowers
sucking from veins of wood and root in the grassy depths
everywhere shedding old faces for new, short light for long shadow
