Yesterday I went in for my CT scan and bone scan. First the CT scan and getting an IV. Finding a good vein in my left arm is getting to be a bit tricky so the nurse... then poured me my one liter ‘contrast’ drink and sent me to the waiting room so I could slurp it up. A short time later I had my CT scan.

Went in for scans today. CT scan and bone scan, plus labs.
I keep hearing about "scanxiety" leading up to the scans and wonder why I manage to avoid feeling any....
Of course, it was impossible to do so during the CT scan because the robotic man-voice kept talking to me. "Breath in...hold your breath...breath" kept me awake what with me being

It wasn’t long before the door knock came and in walked my Onc. He asked me how I was feeling … do I have pain of any kind, how is the Xeloda treating me? I’m thinking to myself … enough of the small talk, give me the news.

My CT scan is good, apparently my brain is 'normal' - who would have thought. A little scary when they can schedule it that quickly (2 days) but great to have the good... for an information session in January called 'Clearing the Fog About Chemo Brain' as well as one called 'Moving Forward After Breast Cancer' that covers many topics including remaining side

TB had a CT scan last Thursday and yesterday we met with the oncologist to discuss the results.
Compared to the base scan done in October:
The size of the mass... and will let us know if the medication he was given to adjust that has been effective or not. Not sure when we’ll know the results but probably at his next treatment on the 13th of Jan

I may be a bit crabby today, because I'm following instructions in preparation for abdominal CT scan with contrast. 3 hours before: stop eating and drinking, 2 hrs before drink a half bottle of "stuff" called Redi-CT, instructions say you can sip it, but radiology technician suggested to chug it down and think sweet thoughts.
