Do cortisone shots actually make things worse? – NYTimes.com .
Since I have tendonitis, it came as something of a shock to find out that cortisone shots might not be a good idea and, in fact, might make things worse. Say what?
I’m certainly willing to wait and put in the work if it means I’m less likely to be back at square one in six months

Got my cortisone shot Friday. It certainly has helped. When I stand up now and take that first step, I can just WALK. Synthetic cortisone shots are designed to work directly on the affected area within minutes... shot. Some of the more common problems that individuals have that might require a cortisone shot would be but not limited to:
Shoulder Bursitis
Arthritis

So, after a full three weeks off, one very itchy cast and a good dose of cortisone, I FINALLY tested out the foot (and my new plaid running skirt - too cute!). AND IT WAS FANTASTIC!!

I apologize for not writing this sooner, but things have gotten hectic at school recently. Last Monday I went in for my cortisone injection. I should have been a little more... put the cortisone in the proper place. My big mistake was watching him to do all of this on the screens in the room. I do not recommend watching. He had to inject the dye twice
