learned how to attend to deep cuts on the body and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree burns. MaKenneth also explained how serious the HIV virus is in their community. The goal is to educate the community and show them how to attend to any emergencies.

Tebelopele put on a week long work shop for the surrounding communities to attend. The work shop included Basic facts about HIV/AIDS, Progression of HIV infections in the body, Opportunistic infections, Reducing stress, Adherence, and Nutrition. The training was an excellen learning experience for eveyone.

More and more public health education communities are finding value in social networks in the pursuit of education. Where do the kids hang out, go there and set up your site and capture some action, that is what the New York City Department of Health decided to do. Smart move on their part. BD
