Over a year ago, Nathan Teodoro of TDA Training started up a Google Group for martialarts bloggers and blog readers. This group has grown over time to the point that Nathan went out and found a new host. He has recently launched the new platform for The Convocation of CombatArts.

Meditation before martialarts training

I am not sure if any of you are involved in martialarts (I currently take Combat Hapkido). I find that in this system - which is primarily self-defense - it is important to spend a bit of time meditating before class in order to be affective and to learn how to channel the Chi energy.
Anyone else in martialarts use meditation???
