healthy version:
1 cup low fat milk
1 TBL Agave syrup (or honey) (if your kids are used to Nesquik or other sweeter cocoas, you may want to use 2 TBL
2 TBL cocoa powder (the 100% cocoa powder)
Mix together over the stove, or in the microwave until warm and dissolved.

In order to make cocoa powder, cocoa beans are first fermented, roasted, and shelled.
Inside that shell are cacao nibs, which undergo... the antioxidants and flavonoids in cocoa powder, have it in its natural form.
One suggestion? Make a smoothie with your milk of choice (dairy, soy, nut, etc.), one ripe medium banana

The industry is abuzz. Cocoa powder has the goods. Resveratrol compounds, that is.
Researchers have found in cocoa powder the flavan-3-ol polyphenol class of antioxidants..., an important little tidbit to know is that many studies on the antioxidant value of chocolate don't tell you that "Dutched" or "alkalized" cocoa loses many of its antioxidants.

? Well, I think my favorite variety is their Cocoa Mole flavor!
As I've said before, I'm all about soups these days, and this cocoa-chili recipe will be in my new cookbook. It includes anti-oxidant rich cocoa powder, as well as another one or two 'surprise' ingredients!!
