, Chris has been on the following medications. Respirdal, Effexor, Abilify, clozapine, Solian, Serdolect. I think he has been on enough. I thought he had been on enough after... as to what schizophrenia really is and how to treat it. We trusted the doctors to get Chris well.
We were misled about the clozapine. Chris had only been on Respirdal and Effexor

The study may be something many with schizophrenia already know… it works… But, why isthis new news? No, Clozapine has been around for year and even seen a boost... it in… Make one wonder if we are just guinea pigs?

I am reading more and more media reports extolling the virtues of clozapine as an effective antipsychotic. Clozapine has been around for years, since the 1970s in Europe... improvement on other antipsychotics. The fact that it is off-patent is one reason why it is not more widely used, but only one reason.

While typically used as an antipsychotic medication, often for treatment of schizophrenia and related disorders, clozapine may be a useful alternative... is that when coupled to a specific natural supplement, the amino acid tyrosine, clozapine can gain new powers that increase its ADHD treatment potential.

This isn't information I need yet, but it is so clear I thought it worth linking:
Clozapine is the only antipsychotic shown to be efficacious for the treatment of PD psychosis, although quetiapine is more frequently used because of convenience. Concerns about antipsychotic sensitivity in DLB patients may prevent antipsychotics from being tested
