samson's hope by AliRae Patient Expert Posted Thu 01 Jul 2010 12:44pm My heart sank when Caleb, a translator, stopped me on the stairs and handed me a well-worn packet of papers. The first was a discharge form, neatly printed with information about the surgery we did last year. Surgery Update by Shelley B. Patient Expert Posted Wed 05 Oct 2011 6:00am I'm alive!  Writing this on Tuesday evening, still dealing with some nausea off and on every few hours...apparently if you are prone to motion sickness (of which I am the queen, unfortunately), general anesthesia can make you feel sick.  Blech.  Kelly picked me up some saltines along with my pain meds, and that has helped.  Anyway, onto the surge ... The Story So Far... by soledaddy Posted Fri 11 Feb 2011 12:00am I thought I would share my story and explain where I am coming from as I begin this blog. One day… Two and a half years ago I was sitting at a corporate kickoff event for the locale Fox Cities Marathon.
