seeing them about a year ago. Is this dental fluorosis? What would cause it to show up now?

White spots on teeth occur when the surface of the tooth (the enamel) looses its mineral content.
Minerals get dissolved out of teeth by acidity.
So the question is....where is the acidity coming from to cause these white spots?

cause of the white spots can be dry mouth (as result of the PH etc etc).
For your further information my daughter between the age 2-6 years old often had problem with ear infection. She sleeps with her mouth open -could this cause the white spot?

is a healthy girl (she never had any serious problems with her health ) and I would like to ask you the possible causes of the white spots and the further treatment in order to prevent... confidence in my advice and I understand your concerns.

As I mentioned in another post, I had noticed some wired, confetti-like white spots on my face. I don't know where they came from or what they are from.

Thanks for your reply. I just went to my health food store & bought some granular xylitol. I am 'eating' 2 teaspoons a day for 8 grams. I try to spread them out as much as I can, but sometimes during the week [like at school] it's hard for me to get any during the day. So then I'll just eat the 2 teaspoons at night. Do you think ...

different brands and I always pick the one that claims to leave no white marks, so I really don’t get it. So what I wanted to ask is what causes the white marks? Does it make... between antiperspirants and deodorants. Essentially, AP stops you from sweating, Deodorants stop you from smelling.
