Votrient is a multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor and it is currently approved for renal cell carcinoma. To my knowledge there are no published studies supporting its use for urothelial cancer. An ongoing Phase-II trial Pazopanib ( Votrient ) for metastatic urothelial cancer has generated promising but very preliminary early results

While malignant tumors are “clonal” (meaning... that you really can’t tell what the heck kind of tissue it is).
