Well they retreived just 7 ovum yesterday.... just seven! Anyway will call in Thursday morning to see how fertilization is going.
Last time in 2006, we had so many more ovum, i guess two years passing for a woman in her 30's makes a big difference? Anyway, we'll see.
I was under anesthia, asleep totally, my husband said it took like 15 minutes

was a pregnancy was actually a blighted ovum and I was able to get it out earlier (okay, the crazy anti-abortion protesters...but that's another story ).
But obviously you don't want... day 16 with special markers to track neuronal development. Exposure to USW for 30 minutes or longer caused a small but statistically significant number of neurons to remain

as a blighted ovum 2 weeks later
June 2006: IVF #2: (13 eggs, 9 mature, 8 fertilized, transfered 2 grade A expanded blast and 1 grade B expanding blast, none make it to freeze) BFP... baby as a blighted ovum. I spend the weekend on the couch crying.
July 19, 2006: HCG is still rising. The clinic sends me to someone who specializes in doing ultrasounds

and just believe that they had a late period.
A Blighted ovum is when an embryo implants but does not grow as it should. Ultrasounds show that there is an empty sac.... At this point the woman will have to have surgery because an ectopic pregnancy can be life threatening if not removed as it can cause the fallopian tube to rupture.

% of these pregnancies, one gestational sac will be empty, a situation called a blighted ovum pregnancy. Often, these pregnancies will simply disappear. At other times, the woman may experience... be indicated to search for any organic causes that may have contributed to the early pregnancy loss. Unfortunately, such evaluations usually do not produce any definitive answers.

control of my peace. Again, "blighted ovum" are the words dancing around in my head.
*SIGH* Am I destined to only have dramatic pregnancies from here on out? I hope not. And yes, I'm fine. The dizziness wore off slowly after I drank more water. But that danged water may have caused me undue stress.
