Cashewnut cookies
Makes: 18 cookies
You will need
150 g cashewnuts
135 g sugar
1 egg white
2 tablespoon ( 30 g ) all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon butter

Coconut & Cashewnut Macaroons
Makes: 14 - 15
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Baking time - 18 - 20 minutes
You will need
2 egg whites
A pinch of salt
1 cup powdered sugar
200 g grated coconut
1 tablespoon cashewnut, powdered
3 - 4 tablespoon all purpose flour ( maida )
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Ingredients
200 g cashewnuts
1 medium - sized onion
2 pods of garlic
1 – piece of cinnamon stick
3 cloves
1 teaspoon peppercorns
1 tablespoon cumin seeds... the peppercorns, cinnamon and cloves.
Cut onion lengthwise.

for cashewnut macaroon recipe. I attempted to make cashewnut macaroons as per recipes posted by many cookery websites and recipe books. But they all ended up in a big disaster because there is some secret ingredient which is needed to stabilize egg white - cashewnut - sugar mixture. All websites invariably asks for 2 egg whites for 100 g sugar

1 garlic clove, crushed
1/2 cinnomon stick
6 green cardomon pods
9 oz basmati rice
2 oz sultanas
1 tbsp sunflower oil
2 oz cashewnuts
Heat..., and cook for a further ten minutes, or untill all the liquid has been absorbed
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the cashewnuts until browned, drain on kitchen paper
