I broke my calf muscle! I don’t know what I did, but it hurt…a lot. And I’m a baby.
For three days I had one heck of a knot in my left calf muscle. The process of walking and standing hurt but I ran on Thursday morning and I was fine while running. I don’t understand it, but whatever. I spent some quality time icing my calf, popping ibuprofen

further ado, I give you my advice: quads first, calf muscles last.
In other words, always train your biggest muscles first. Quadriceps, hamstrings, gluteus maximus, core, chest... and move through the list until you hit your calf muscles.

Yes; after you’ve exercised vigorously, your muscles may feel fine, but they usually feel sore the next morning. Delayed-onset muscle soreness is caused by damage to muscle... a hard workout and then take easy workouts for as many days as it takes for the soreness to go away. Taking another hard workout while the muscles feel sore increases risk
