A common question is ” Why does my Purple Flowering Broccoli not have any Broccoli heads.” The answer is that there are two sorts of broccoli:
Sprouting - white or purple sprouting broccoli
Calabrese - a green sprouting broccoli which may have a single, large head.

Add broccoli and sautee for a few mins.
Add the splash of lemon juice as the broccoli sautees.
Remove from heat and sprinkle with the parmesan... and asiago to my broccoli.

Steam a few potatoes together with the broccoli. In the meantime sautee an onion with garlic...

I guess I’m sort of on an almond meal kick . I’ve been putting it in everything lately! For this dinner, I took some fresh lake perch, sprinkled it with salt and pepper, and sauteed it in butter. But the roasted broccoli was definitely the star of this dinner.
