Kinni-Kwik Bread & Bun Mix by Michelle Halls Patient Expert Posted Wed 19 Jan 2011 1:37pm As with all Kinnikinnick products, this mix is a high quality, great tasting product. The mix has directions to allow you to make as few buns as you want – it is 3 parts mix to 2 parts liquid (water, milk or milk alternative). 3 cups to 2 cups makes 6-8 buns in muffin tins. For us, that’s enough for a week ... Read on »
Apple Almond Butter Muffins & Apple Sticky Bun Bread Pudding by Kelly Posted Sun 18 Oct 2009 10:06pm I’m starting to feel seasonally confused.  First June came, but summer didn’t and the month was filled with rainstorms and blustery days.  Now it’s mid-October and our plans to visit a local Renissance festival were literally washed out by snow flurries and unseasonably low temperatures.  Instead the almost wintery temperatures called for a weeke ... Pizza, buns, bread by Andrea Z. Patient Expert Posted Thu 16 Jul 2009 10:18pm The "first" pizza. I've been on a pizza bender lately. I'm not sure if it started with a conversation I had with my son about Peter Reinhart and grilled pizza, or with an urge to eat summer-kissed vine-ripened tomatoes baked into a pie. But I've eaten pizza on three consecutive days this week so, whatever the influence, it was a powerful one ... Read on »
Cinnamon Buns: Baking Through the Bread Baker's Apprentice by Vegan Dad .. Patient Expert Posted Wed 03 Feb 2010 5:13pm I am now into the cinnamon section of the cookbook, which is a pretty nice place to be! GENERAL NOTES 1. I made 12 buns--this made for a good size, not too big or too small. 2. The recipe calls for quite a bit of cinnamon-sugar filling. I found it spilled out when I cut the roll of dough, so I sprinkled it on top of the buns so it did not g ... Read on »
