During the interview Eva Sapi talks about the nutritious requirements for Borrelia being quite significant, she says when we culture Borrelia in the lab, we need to use a very rich media.
She says the brain is an organism very juicy, perfect for Borrelia.

If you can’t penetrate the biofilm, then the bacteria remain protected from whatever treatment you may be doing. In the coming months I’m going to be writing more about this.

to wonder how many patients are PCR tested negative for Borrelia when indeed they actually still have an active infection?
