What is bird Flu?
Avian flu is caused by a form of influenza virus that usually only infects birds and sometimes infects pigs. The few people who have become sick... who became infected with the H5N1 strain of avian flu caught it directly from birds. It has not been proven that H5N1 can be spread from person to person.

I am not a huge fan of birds. But this year has brought us some very special visitors at the lake. It has been kinda fun to watch them come and go.
There has been a Loon... everyday. Even if they are birds. Why do I not like birds? I really don't know, I just don't.
