Lily-Bili by ERIN HAYES Posted Wed 20 Oct 2010 12:00am That's a big Lily-Bili-Baby. Still 7 lbs 13 oz. Lily started looking a bit pumpkin-like last night and today is under the Bili lights. She doesn't seem to mind it so far. She almost doubled her feeding amount over night as well although she is quite a messy eater, so it's hard to get exact amounts. This is partially probably du ... Yay for Sue!! by Candi Houston Posted Mon 02 May 2011 12:00am My little man is now 5 days old!  The time is already flying and it is making me panic a little bit! I am trying to enjoy every little second with him but the seconds tick by so fast!  He is already changing and looking less like he did the day he was born but he just keeps getting cuter!!  Things have been going really well since we broug ... Happy 1 Week Little Peanut! by Angie All The Way Patient Expert Posted Fri 20 Aug 2010 12:17pm (3 days old) I can hardly believe that today our little boy is already one week old.  Things are going amazing well for us and we are a very happy little family.  So far I have been able to avoid the expected baby blues or period of feeling "weepy" with the exception of a few "I'm so happy I'm weepy" moments and I believe it's all thanks to ... Flash back Friday: Shunt surgery by Josephine A. Facebook Posted Fri 13 Feb 2009 7:00am Tomorrow will be my baby's 3rd birthday! I can't believe how fast time is flying. My beautiful girl. This time 3 years ago I was a bag of nerves waiting for my little one to be born - frustrated that we were still having to wait because I knew there was nothing that could be done for her until she was born. I was scheduled to have a c-section on ... Read on »
Filling in the blanks by Melissa H. Posted Thu 18 Nov 2010 3:18pm I didn’t blog while D was in the NICU. I can say that I was too busy, or stressed, but the real reason is that I was afraid she wasn’t going to make it. I became ridiculously superstitious while she was sick, and thought that blogging would mean I felt confident enough that she would survive. I know, I was completely crazy. Guilty as charged. B ... Sawyer's Birthday by Candi Houston Posted Sat 30 Apr 2011 12:00am When I went in for my NST on Tuesday the 26th, I was prepared to beg Dr. Sanders, even bribe him if I had to, to do something to get my labor started.  Luckily, I didn't have to do either.  He walked into the room and asked me how I felt about meeting my little boy the next day.  He had already made the arrangements for me to be induced the ... Hospitals. The conclusion. Finally. by ERIN HAYES Posted Mon 05 Sep 2011 1:50am We had high hopes when Lily was born. I did, at least. Her heart looked fairly healthy on echo, her skull was pleasingly round on ultrasound, and she was big. And so, having accepted that we were getting a new membership to the special needs club, I was hoping for a chance to be amazing at it. I was counting on Lily to make it easy for me. No big ... I'm Donating Breastmilk! by MessyJessy Posted Wed 30 May 2007 12:00am When Parker was in the NICU, I remember sitting in a *circle* with another Mom and 2 nurses. Me and the other mom were *watching* our babies. She had twins in isoletes, Parker was under the bili-lights. The other Momma was having a dificult time expressing enough milk to feed her babies. I, on the otherhand, could have feed the entire NICU- an ... Read on »
