Ashtanga Yoga vs. BikramYoga

class confirmed for me that I could not possibly pick a favorite between Bikram and Ashtanga. They are both called yoga, but that’s pretty much where the similarities end.
I... in the pose. I love that Ashtanga yoga doesn’t use mirrors so you can focus on how you feel, instead of how you look. I love that with Bikram the teacher gives you a very detailed

to structure, and works to avoid unnecessary injury, BikramYoga did not resonate with me.

I try to do Bikramyoga once a week. I go to a studio on Chicago and Franklin (219 W. Chicago 6th floor). I started doing bikramyoga this summer when I was getting bored of the gym and wanted to try something new. I did yoga in college but I never tried Bikram before. I have learned to really enjoy it.
