Do separate bikepaths improve safety?

was actually expecting an apology. She called out, "Why aren't you on the bikepath?" There is a bikepath that runs along side this road.
Somewhat taken back I hesitated for a second, then told her. "If I had been on the bikepath you would have hit me for sure." I don't know if she even heard me because by now the window was rolling up again and she

LOBV calls on support for continuous bikepath along MoPac

The MoPac Improvement Project is working on ways to improve traffic along this heavy used corridor, and the League of Bicycling Voters is suggesting a continuous bike... for this improvement.
The LOBV is calling for the following bicycle and pedestrian accommodations:
A contiguous, non-stop, off-street bicyclepath and pedestrian path from Parmer Lane

miles of bike/walking paths, with even more planned for the future. You can easily do your shopping or get to the beach on a bicycle.
On my recent trip there I managed to get... junction and business entrance. (Gas Stations were the worst.)

The NRD has a new survey box up at the trail head, Jon and Craig were happy to take part. We got to see the turning leaves on the way to Eagle. On the way back Council was sporting his new light. I can't believe he finally broke down and bought one! Today's miles on the commute and Nacho Ride = 47.9

The frost heaves on the Billy Wolff trail just West of Van Dorn have been replaced with several sections of new smooth concrete. Their also redoing a bit of the John Dietrich along 48th.
These improvements are great, I'd love to see them redo the Billy Wolff on the East side of the zoo too.

between riding the super dark bikepath and the illuminated but scary roads, I decided that neither was a good idea and gave up on getting a good work out.
