Last night when I got home from work, I had promised Jack that we were going to "pop" Jenelle's balloons that were deflated and left over from her birthday party. fight off being sick and be well enough to go to the balloon races this weekend.
We'd planned for the past year for a friend from "down south" to join us for the balloon races. Our younger kids look forward to the festival so much each year that almost every time we mention Natchez, one of them ask if it is time for the balloon races yet. We were

ones I need, but this little boy with the Hope balloon is one of my favorites. I bought him for myself ages ago and I bought him for Sara Joy on sweet Joel's first birthday.
I love him and his hope balloon, but lately, my balloon has felt a little deflated. Like the helium has all gone out and instead of holding it aloft, I'm just dragging it after me
