The fam and I are heading out for a mini ski trip. We’ll be ringing in the new decade in a slopeside hot tub, spent exhausted and jelloid from a full day of skiing. amiss, you’ll probably here much more from me in the coming weeks about Backcountry skiing as I figure out how it all works. Hopefully, for those of you who have never tried... strikes, and the lay of the ice cooperates. Last year I put time into learning cross country skiing. It did feel good to get out. I just had an amazing stretch of 9 days where I skied 7 days. That's my best stretch of skiing in a few years, and it was a lot of fun, despite the fact that I was fighting...). Then, I took a 2-day clinic where I was the student. We skied at Smugglers' Notch and the snow was amazing. I learned a lot that I intend to use in my teaching for the rest

looove skiing, parts of me want to move to a ski area and work as a nurse in a clinic so I could ski my brains out. The other parts which want to act, write, and ride subways seem to win these conflicts. Right now it's 8:00 am and the temp is -8F. much I think I might be getting 6-pack abs, and skied our butts off. It was cold, but that just made the trips to the outhouse that much quicker.
