Your posture (static, transitional, dynamic) says a lot about your past exercise program. Among other things, posture shows the strength of your core and whether certain muscles are tight or weak. The first picture is an example of bad posture and the second is obviously good. It makes a difference in your daily functioning and exercising

If you continue to exercise with poor posture you will recruit the wrong muscles and build your body disproportionately... for long periods of time, you will be prone to chronic hamstring tightness. Which leads to improper function when exercising, and lead to injuries, especially back injuries
