in and day out. Over time...this can lead to chronic upper back pain...and this is not much fun.
Sure... proper ergonomics and micro-breaks are a must...but what about the pain you have right now?
Patients want to know...Is there a way to get rid of my upper back pain first and then we can talk about the right way to sit and all that?

Proper Office Ergonomics includes "getting up out of your chair" and moving around. Take Breaks, Stretch, and walk around to avoid Back Pain and Injury

I was talking with a returning patient today in regards to why their low back pain returned. We reviewed his life style and noted the fact that he sits for long periods because he travels quite a bit either flying or driving. I explained to him what happens when a person sits for a long time.
