Whooping cough made the news again today as it took the life of another baby in California. The state has had nearly 6000 confirmed cases (and probably many more unconfirmed). The major manufacturers of infantcough and cold preparations have voluntarily recalled 14 products from the market today, saying that there is too much risk of misuse... identified four children under three years of age whose cause of death was accidental overdose of cough and cold products.

Since Sunday/Monday, Sophie has had an increase in her coughing. I have purposely left it for a few days just to see if anything was developing, and also wondering whether I was noticing something that wasn't there, due to knowing she had pseudo lurking.

I felt a bit "iffy" this morning but I went off to school.
