ago, myopia’s friend, astigmatism, came along. By then myopia has increased to 8.50 (right) and 9.75 (left) over the years and astigmatism was 1.00 (right) and 0.75 (left) when... eyes.

I took Gabi to the pediatric opthamologist today. She cooperated much better than I thought she would. The results: Gabi is far-sighted and has an astigmatism. Glasses here we come!
Please pray for our patience as we get Gabi adjusted to the need of glasses. I'll post a picture of her in her new glasses once we get them.

glasses!
Elisabeth has severe astigmatism and is getting eyeglasses to treat the problem (before it turns into an even bigger problem).
Is it totally wrong for me to be so excited about my baby getting glasses? Because in all honesty I think she is going to be adorable. I'm thinking pink....or maybe purple frames.

Nah, I did not buy any discount shades but rather I got my eyes checked and have the optometrist prescribed me a reading glass. As it turn out my astigmatism is not yet corrected and have been a cause of my headache. Unfortunately the first day that I tried my glasses on, I got another episode of my headaches.
