Of the major thru hikes, the AT is least interesting to me. I don’t like being tree trapped.

a few trail bars and I had already brought along some organic trail mix in my pack. I still have it in my pack: this trail mix didn't have M and M's in it.

had trail running envy today, I thought it would be fun to recap the 2008 trail speed record attempts.
*Appalachian Trail Speed Record Attempts: The Appalachian Trail...' Appalachian Trail attempt set a new record in 57 days 8 hours. She was the 6th fastest finisher ever and the fastest female by 30 days.
