. What other hidden effects are due to the modern diet?
As a chronic Lyme patient, I always attributed my weak ligaments and muscles, which resulted in sacroiliac problems, knee problems and weak feet and ankles....specifically to the lyme microbe itself. Here is a new study that points out additional problems with modern shoes. The study proposes that shoes may dispose the wearer to lateral ankle ligament injury. Ankle sprains can be prevented or you can lessen the risk of ankle sprains. A bad ankle sprain or ankle ligaments tear can cause you trouble for the rest of your playing... landing technique from jumps also cause many ankle sprains and knee ligament injuries.
