Teva’s Generic Adderall XR

In April of 2009, Adderall XR went generic.
According to this article in Philadelphia Business Journal:
“(O)n Thursday, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries became the first company to launch a generic version of Shire’s attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder drug Adderall XR.”

Recently my doctor switched me from Dexedrine to Adderall (well - the generic of Adderall) and the BIG difference between two two is that the generic Adderall... that with the generic Adderall I would have to cut the tabs and take them a couple times a day. The problem with that is you don't get the steady "flow" of medication throughout the day

My pdoc did give me a Rx for this good stuff, and the best news is that it does not interact with Lamictal or Prozac. He advised to not take a full does of Adderall with a full does of Ativan at the same time, but I can take the Ativan three hours after I take the Adderall. Which makes sense becaue those two pills, while one is an upper and one
