Swim workout by Kirk .. Patient Expert Posted Thu 22 Jan 2009 3:59pm 24 laps. Big progress today. I did 24 LAPS. Still can’t believe it. I swam to the wall, tapped it and turned around. Swim workout by Kirk .. Patient Expert Posted Wed 07 Jan 2009 3:09pm 15 laps. One lap less then last time. I guess I just forgot. I did these as fast as I could. It ended up taking me 40 minutes. That’s got to be at least 5 minutes faster then last time. I ended up thinking of these in laps instead of lengths. I swam a length, took a few breaths, swam the rest of the lap and then took a rest. It’s pretty fun to hang out together at the pool. I... progress. My wife and I had to share a lane.  I swam across the pool and waited for her. When she got to me I went back. My breaks were a lot shorter as a result so I feel like I got a much better workout.        Read on »
