10 Mile Run by Clara Patient Expert Posted Mon 18 May 2009 12:06am Dangit...why can't I ever do sprints? I only scheduled a sprint workout for yesterday to ensure that I'd actually do them...but since I didn't run 10 miles on Tuesday I ended up running them yesterday and skipping out on the sprints. Dangit! Why do I hate them? Anyway...the 10 mile run was at least good. 1:17 on flat pavement. Read on »
Chester Woods Trail 10 Mile Run by FitthisGirl Posted Fri 23 Apr 2010 6:05am I caught a bug. I was planning on just running 2 miles...then I thought I'd do 3...then 4, but 5 sounded better as a number...then 6. After 6 miles, I knew it would take less than 40 minutes to run 4 more miles...and I didn't have any pressing plans....and I wasn't Read on »

The goal was to run the first 5 miles easy and the last 5 miles hard. Coach wanted the 2nd 5 miles to be 3-5 minutes faster than the first. This workout today confirmed exactly what I already knew—I needed a “recovery” run more than anything else. While I completed the workout successfully juding by my two Read on »
A great 10-mile run this morning. by Allen Patient ExpertHealth Maven Posted Mon 17 Nov 2008 9:08pm since I did 10 miles, and it felt great. I purposely am reducing my distance while I increase my pace, but I'm hoping to keep the ability to run 10 miles so I won't have to do a lot of work to get my distance back to 13.1 miles. After I finish a run, I always go into the tunnel under 9800/10000 South to be in the shade while I stretch Read on »

Bonking on a 10-mile run by Kevin L. Patient Expert Posted Sun 31 Jan 2010 7:41pm than 500 calories the entire day, I went out for a 10-mile run. Two blocks into the run, I was like, "What am I doing?" I rallied somewhat as my body used up the final sources... In the two and half years I've been a father, I think I've done a pretty good job of not letting life interfere with my running. Outside of Noah's first week on this planet Read on »
