Vegans and Vitamin A

Aside from your regular old multivitamin, you’re going to need a little extra something if you’re vegan: vitamin A. Vitamin A is generally found in eggs, milk, and other animal products. However, food is still consistently a much better choice than supplements to take on top of a multivitamin. For a healthy dose of vitamin A, eat a cup of baby carrots or drink a cup of carrot juice every day, with a meal, which helps you absorb the vitamin A.
