Resting Is Important For Muscle Growth

Everybody knows how to grow muscles. Train, train and train, right? However, is that really the key to muscle growth? There are several factors which people often neglect, one of them being rest. In fact, for the past few articles I have wrote, I have been stressing that rest is actually very important formuscle growth.

Tobuild muscles, we all need to do weight lifting with an ample amount of diet and sleep. Eating the right food and getting plenty of beauty sleep each night will defnitely help your muscles repair and build. Why is it important then?

Think of it this way, what weight lifting does is to stimulate your muscle to grow, however the actual growth of your muscles occurs during your resting time and not in the gym. More specifically, growth hormone is released during your sleep, repairing and building your muscles. The sad thing is that, most of the people think that working out about 2 - 3 hours in the gym is the way to go. Faster progress and better results? Think again!

If you are new to the world of weight lifting, the last thing you would want to do would be to spend your whole day in the gym thinking that this will definitely turn you into hulk. There are always time when you feel you can’t even lift enough compared to your previous workout. Well, this just means that it is time to listen to your body and rest. Allow your muscles to rebuild!
