Eating Out Starts At Home

Who else has this happened to? You're on a diet. Your friend calls - she wants to go out to dinner.
You hem, you haw, you try to get out of it. She knows the reason - you're on a diet! She shouts at you that your body dysmorphia is getting in the way of your friendship and hangs up the phone. You call her back, agree to go and end up kicking the meal off with a glass of wine and an appetizer, order the special fish and eat all the sauce, then wrap it all up with a dessert.
Aughhh!
Now, all of this could have been prevented. Eating out starts at home.
If you are going out for dinner, don't starve yourself throughout the day in preparation. It will only make you go crazy when food is put in front of you. Trust me, then you would eat everything in sight. Eat normally. In fact, eat more than you should.
When it's almost time to go out for dinner, have a snack. And by snack, I mean a Lean Cuisine or a Weight Watcher's dinner.
WHAT?! that will spoil...
Yes. Your appetite. For heavy food that is most likely not healthy. By the time you get to the restaurant, you'll want to order that salad. Cause girl, you'll be food.
(Great way to save money, too :)
