For those of you who need to spice up your workouts and break out of the same old routine, read this Q & A.Client Q: I need to change the order of my workouts because I'm getting bored. Does it matter and what can I do to break out of my boredom?
Mark's A: You may need to shorten your workouts.
You'll get more "bang for your buck" with shorter, more intense workouts (like 45 minutes instead of 1.5 hours). Try mixing in your cardio between sets of weight lifting (including body weight exercises). This method is a proven fat-burner especially if you do circuit weight training. Good cardio exercises to use between weight lifting sets are mountain climbers, jumping jacks, jumping rope, burpees and run-in-place. Thirty to 45 minutes is all you need for this type of workout.
