Mornin’ folks! My plans for a pre-sunrise run changed this morning when it was

1) Cold

2) Dark

I reasoned: “Why am I running in the cold and dark when I could go at 11:00 and run in Fall sunshine!? So I got up and made breakfast and am saving my run for after class.

Today’s bowl was 100% chew:

  • 1/3 cup oats/milk/water
  • 1/2 small ripe banana
  • The rest of our wheatberries = closer to 1/3 cup each = yum!
  • About 1/4 cup leftover pumpkin
  • Mexican vanilla (given to us by the husband’s Gran Bet in a jar - not sure where she got it)
  • Sliced almonds
  • Trail mix sprinkle
  • GoLean Crunch sprinkle
  • Small Toffee Butter PB spoon

A chandelier. Interesting experiment today. This coffee (Fresh Market Tiramisu) is more acidic than others and tasted really bitter to me this morning, so I decided to add some Splenda (which I have successfully weaned myself from on a regular basis). But it turned out to be TOO SWEET!!! I really missed my regular milky blend. Lesson: sweetened weaning works.
