If I know what I'm cooking for supper, I'm less likely to buy fast food on the way home. I'm also not as likely to fall prey to those prepackaged meals at the grocery store. I have a harder time controlling my weight and feeling good about myself when I do that. The best way to avoid the fast food trap is to make a menu. Most of the time I don't mind cooking, it's just the deciding what to cook that kills me. If I have a menu, I know what to buy at the store and what I'm cooking when I get home.
