what causes upper abdominal swelling and pain under left rib ?

stomach swelling to the point i feel i cant breath i get pain and cramps under my left rib bloode in stools  also pain at bottom of stomach every so othen as tho it feels its  my ovarivs. WHAT IS IT ???
