swelling, redness and pain in the two joints of the small finger, not fractured, what could it be?

You probably have high blood cholesterol, consult your doctor immediately.

What's the treatment?

Regular physical activity,

Healthy eating.

Cutting down on fats. There are some food which may help to lower cholesterol levels , paticularly garlic, soya, oats, corn and selenium-enriched cereals.

Thank you for the suggestion, I should have mentioned it is my 16 year old son.  they referred me to a ruehmatologist.  We are seeing her tomm afternoon, but I would like to look at all possibilities.  Any other suggestions?
