Reactive Arthritis

Yersinia is caused by bacteria and normally cause gastroenteritis or the stomach flu. It usually causes symptoms which include diarrhea, abdominal pain, fever and can cause blood infections if they spread beyond the intestine which is treated by antibiotics. However, these bacteria are also responsible for causing arthritis as well. This type of arthritis is referred to either as Reactive
