my friend has a severly bent right index finger after an incident with a soccer ball.
it is months after the initial consultation with a specialist who recommended physio and gentle coaxing back.
it is still bent just as severly although now the cartillage has built up so the specialist is afraid to operate without doing more damage and believes she is better off with a bent finger than a finger that cannot be moved from its straight position.
is my friend really stuck with a severly bent finger for the rest of her life??
what course of action should she take in her fingers recovery now??
