knee pain due to arthiritis

Posted Mar 09 2010 5:08am

i have arthiritis of the knee, mild to moderate according to the orthepedic surgeon, he gave me a cortizone injection but did not help and told me to come back if the pain continued. knowing what he would suggest i did not return. still having pain and it has got to the point i cannot sleep in my bed, have to sleep in a recliner due to pain and stiffiness , as long as i keep my leg straight out it does not hurt as bad but if i lay down my knee hurts and gets very stiff til i have to get up. so i just started sleeping in my recliner , only way i can get relief enought to get to sleep. after doing research i saw chiropratic treatment can help with knee arthiritis , has anyone gone to a chirpoprator for treament of this disease ?

thanks
