I have a re-occurring skin condition that my doctors cannot seem to understand.

Posted by Nikki

I have small red bumps, which turn into bigger red bumps when the "outbreak" is in full swing.  They start out on my finger joints, elbows, knees and toes.  My fingers do swell some, but I have not noticed swelling in the other areas affected by the bumps.  They are sore when pressure is applied or I accidently bump them.  Sometimes the bumps will cluster together to form several larger bumps.  I have had the bumps biopsied to no avail, and none of my doctors have been able to solve this skin problem.  I have also had blood work done and nothing in the arthritis areas ever show up. I don't take any medications, so I'm sure that's not the issue.  I have tried to track them, thinking that perhaps they are allergies or stress-related, but there really isn't a pattern that I'm aware of.  If anyone has this or knows what this may be, please help!  It's been happening for three years now.
